曹聪山，男，1945年生，浙江磐安人,笔名平象。自幼雅好翰墨，酷爱书法。苦心研习，王羲之等多家名帖，64年参军在（湖州）嘉兴军分区司令部机关工作，曾受湖州市著名书画家谭建丞先生、钱君匋先生指导，76年部队转业到地方政府工作。曾师承中国左书大师胡俊锋先生和著名书法家刘文华老师的悉心指教先后参加中国书法家协会，清华大学主办的书法创作高级研修班进修学习。其间更得益于沈鹏老师，欧阳中石老师的精辟指点，书艺卓有长进。

Cao Congshan, male, born in 1945, from Pan’an, Zhejiang, under the pen name Pingxiang. Since he was young, he is a good artist and loves calligraphy. He studied hard, Wang Xizhi and many other famous posts. In 64, he joined the army and worked in the headquarters of the Jiaxing Army (Huzhou). Under the careful guidance of Chinese Zuoshu master Hu Junfeng and famous calligrapher Liu Wenhua, he has participated in advanced training courses for calligraphy creation sponsored by the Chinese Calligraphers Association and Tsinghua University. In the meantime, thanks to the incisive guidance of Teacher Shen Peng and Teacher Ouyang Zhongshi, he has made great progress in calligraphy.

He is currently a member of the UNESCO Committee of Experts, a member of the World Calligraphers Association, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Calligraphy and Painting, the vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Federation, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Chinese Studies, and the deputy museum of the China Art Expo Director, Lifetime Dean of Beijing Songzhuang International Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Dean of Fengming Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, Honorary Dean of Zhongnanhai Poetry and Calligraphy Academy, and Deputy Dean of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Painting and Calligraphy Academy.
