周永志，1938年出生，浙江东阳人。现系中国书法艺术研究协会副主席，中书协会员，中国画家协会名誉主席，中央美术学院外聘书法教授书法博士生导师，中国教育联盟聘为艺术教育客座教授，中国文化管理协会聘为书法师技能鉴定培训项目专家委员，文化部艺术人才中心评为《影响中国100位艺术家》，中国文联授予《功勋艺术家》。

Zhou Yongzhi was born in 1938 in Dongyang, Zhejiang. He is currently the vice chairman of the Chinese Calligraphy Art Research Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphy Association, the honorary chairman of the Chinese Painters Association, an external calligraphy professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, a calligraphy doctoral tutor, a visiting professor of art education by the China Education Alliance, and a calligraphy by the Chinese Culture Management Association Expert committee member of the training project of teacher skills appraisal, the Art Talent Center of the Ministry of Culture was rated as “100 Artists Affecting China”, and awarded by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles as “Meritious Artists”.

师法赵孟頫、怀素、张旭等书法大家融入自己的创造，创新，形成自己的书风，其书法特点十分独特称著。《中国收藏》评其书法“笔势纵横，淋漓痛快……有强烈的自我意识，并形成自己鲜明的特色”，香港书家评论他的字“形体美，气势美，意境美”三美结合。《艺术与价值》点评周永志书作“大气磅礴，挥洒自如，一时急泻如风雨雷电，一时平静如松升空……”

The calligraphy masters such as Zhao Mengfu, Huai Su, and Zhang Xu integrated into their own creations, innovated, and formed their own style of calligraphy. The characteristics of calligraphy are very unique and famous. “China Collection” commented on his calligraphy as “stretchy strokes, dripping and joyful…have a strong self-awareness, and form its own distinctive characteristics”, Hong Kong calligraphers commented on his calligraphy “beauty in shape, beauty in momentum, and beauty in artistic conception” The combination of three beauties. “Art and Value” commented on Zhou Yongzhi’s book “The majestic atmosphere, freely swaying, a sudden torrential rain and thunder, and a calm as pine lifts into the sky…”

题写了《长城谣》《黄大年》《在桃花盛开的地方》影片片头。在景德镇瓷品，茶具两套国礼器皿上题字。与中国国际集邮网等部门合作出版了三套珍藏邮册。单独出版了四套草书挂历。

Inscribed the film titles of “The Ballad of the Great Wall”, “Huang Danian” and “In the Place Where Peach Blossoms Bloom”. Inscriptions are on the porcelain and tea sets in Jingdezhen. Cooperated with China International Philatelic Network and other departments to publish three collections of stamp albums. Four sets of cursive calendars were published separately.

先后发表了《在书法创作中贯彻“创作型转化”“创新型发展”的几点思考》等论文和《三十六小洞天》等诗歌多篇。

He successively published several articles such as “A Few Thoughts on the Implementation of “Creative Transformation” and “Innovative Development” in Calligraphy Creation and many poems such as “Thirty-Six Xiaodongtian”.

The art market management committee of China Cultural Management Association of the Ministry of culture and tourism strictly audited and approved the market price of Zhou Yongzhi’s calligraphy works as 22000 yuan per square foot according to the measures for the evaluation of the market value of calligraphers and painters’ works. Mo Mei, written by Zhou Yongzhi, won the grand prize in the first global tour of top calligraphy and painting masters, was collected by the Italian museum and employed as the “image ambassador for Chinese and foreign calligraphy and painting exchanges”. September 2019
