黄库（1957——），笔名狮吼龙吟，斋名墨极堂，中国湖南资兴人。出生于教育世家。下乡插队“知青”，中共党员，荣誉院士。著名书法家、书法理论家、诗人、学者、辞书编纂家、国礼艺术家。“墨派”艺术创始人，“百变书法”宗师，中国“意书”创立者，中国书法学科理论奠基人。著作《辞类》（300万字），耗十年心血，1993年出版发行，填补中国辞书空白。入选《中国社会科学工具书检索大典》，全国公共图书馆和各大专院校图书馆均有收藏并流经海外。

Huang Ku (1957 -), pseudonym Shihao Longyin, Zhaiming Moji hall, from Zixing, Hunan, China. Born in an educational family. He is a member of the Communist Party of China and an honorary academician. Famous calligrapher, calligraphy theorist, poet, scholar, lexicographer and national ceremony artist. The founder of “Mohist School”, the master of “changeable calligraphy”, the founder of “Yishu” in China, and the theoretical founder of Chinese calligraphy. The book CI Lei (3 million words), which took ten years of effort, was published and distributed in 1993, filling the gap of Chinese dictionaries. It has been selected into the retrieval dictionary of reference books of Chinese Social Sciences, which is collected by national public libraries and libraries of colleges and universities and flows overseas.

他的书法代表作品被广泛收入国际、国内书画经典并登上国际、国内邮票和景德镇瓷器，12生肖作品已经成为具有标志性的特色文化品牌产品。黄库追求书法的“百变性”和作品的“唯一性”，创建“百变书法”、“工意书”等理论，形成“黄体百变书法”和“黄体百变工意书”，其中“黄体意书”和“黄体百变意书”为中国艺术开辟了革新的道路，极大地推动和丰富了当代书法艺术，使中国书法形成完整的艺术形态，逐步迈向学科性艺术门类。黄库是中国孔子奖章、法国艺术及文学骑士勋章获得者。

2019年被授予“世界殿堂级艺术大师”，相继登上纽约时代广场纳斯达克大屏和“时代周刊”。2020年至2021年被授予“新时代雷锋传人”、“国家艺术功勋人物”、国家首届“红色文化品牌人物”、“中华传奇”、“中国传统文化终身成就奖”、“世界非物质文化终身成就奖”、“世界非物质文化传承人”、“联合国非物质文化功勋”等荣誉称号。2015年成立“黄库艺术研究会”，2021年成立“黄库艺术馆”（北京）。中央电视台人物专访片有《写意人生——黄库》（2012年）《黄库艺术人生》（2019年）等。其传略入录《世界名人录》《世界文化名人辞海》《中国当代艺术界名人录》《中国语言学人名大辞典》等。
