1952年生于美丽的中国江苏省南通市,1979年定居上海,自幼喜绘画,爱武术,武术曾得上海武术名家芮洪秀,葛金钟,钱兆洪,严敬仁,步锦华老师及师兄王登章的传授和指导,并在第十一届武术国际博兰会上与爱徒邱源振双双荣获金牌。

绘画曾得吉谷和伏文颜等多位老师的教导。

1983年成为基督徒。现为北京大学书画研究院客座教授,宋庄国际书画院终身院长。

 

2005-2012年中国画作品多次入选国内外重要展览并多次荣获金奖并颁发证书。

2021年3月荣获“达芬奇艺术金奖”并授予《影响世界十大金牌艺术家》和“世界和平功勋人物”荣誉称号。

2021年6月荣获《卢浮宫艺术金奖》并授予“卢浮宫馆藏级艺术家”荣誉称号并聘为卢浮宫名誉副馆长。

2021年荣获《国际艺术金球奖》兼授《新丝绸之路:文化名人》荣誉称号。

2021年9月荣获“莎土比亚世界文学艺术奖金奖”授予“亚洲文学艺术代表”和世界文化奠基人”荣誉称号,并特聘为“莎士比亚文学博物馆”名誉馆长。
