老尤，本名尤淑悌 ，1933年3月出生于浙江临海，定居杭州。毕业于复旦大学。学者、诗人、美术家。国家一级美术师、国家特级书画家。法兰西皇家美术学院“艺术学”博士。

先后在上海、内蒙、杭州从事党的宣教、文艺的行工作和党校教学工作。为中国管理科学研究院研究员（长久）。其间，1960—1963 兼任舞台美术设计并舞美工作队副队长。1986—1988 北京齐白石艺术函授学院国画专业学习并毕业，为“白石门下”。

Lao You, whose real name is You Shuti, was born in Linhai, Zhejiang Province in March 1933 and settled in Hangzhou. Graduated from Fudan University. Scholar, poet, artist. National first-class artist, national special-class painter and calligrapher. Doctorate in “Arts” from the Royal French Academy of Fine Arts.

He has successively engaged in party propaganda and education, literary and artistic work, and party school teaching in Shanghai, Inner Mongolia, and Hangzhou. Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Management Science (Changjiu). During the period, from 1960 to 1963, he also served as the deputy captain of the stage art design and stage work team. 1986-1988 Beijing Qi Baishi Art Correspondence College studied and graduated with a major in traditional Chinese painting, and was named “Under the Baishimen”.

1993离休后，潜心写意中国山水、花鸟画，兼及诗、书、篆刻。随兴而作，以画写意，崇尚自然，不拘一格，但求物我相融，自在自得。有《国艺巨匠·华夏御章》、《感动世界艺术巨匠》、《聚焦两会—特别推荐著名艺术家尤淑悌》等专集出版。作品曾到俄罗斯、法国、意大利、日本等六国展出，深受好评。先后获“中国改革开放三十年文艺终身成就奖”金奖、“国际艺苑金圣奖”金奖、“达·芬奇国际艺术大奖赛”金奖、“国家十四五规划文化建设奖”、“富士山国际艺术奖”、联合国秘书长安东尼奥·古特雷斯签名的“联合国艺术终身成就奖”并授予“世界艺术功勋人物”和“联合国文化艺术勋章”。

现为世界名人艺术研究协会副主席、中国国际文学艺术家协会常务理事、联合国国际文化传播中心副主席、英国皇家艺术研究院、俄罗斯艺术科学院、法兰西皇家画院、瑞典皇家艺术学院、罗马画院等荣誉院士、院士、终身院士、客座教授。

《博爱花》

嘴唇花，以酷似人的嘴唇而得名，生长于中、南美洲一些国家的热带雨林中，由于森林遭到无节制的砍伐，而频临灭绝。岂不哀乎？

题辞，以行书为主间有篆（甲骨文、金文、小篆）、隶、楷、草，以示汉字的多彩和天趣。译文如下：嘴唇花，博爱花。虽遭人祸，刀斧频相加；心未改，爱无涯。同仁无类，一吻天下！

“The Flower of Fraternity”
